Location: Russell, Manitoba

Working with MCW Consultants as the prime consultant, this project consisted of fire safety upgrades to an existing personal care home facility by providing a sprinkler system. The architectural scope of work consisted of coordinating bulkheads for sprinkler installations. Coordination for the provision of a new ceiling in the kitchen and fire-stopping upgrades in the attic. The building code review identified a deficiency in the floor-to-floor separations to the non-conforming crawlspace. This non-conforming situation was rectified by the provision of spray-applied fireproofing. This project was a phased construction.
